DeBordieu Book Club


Jewels Of Passion was featured at the DeBordieu Book Club at DeBordieu Colony in Georgetown, South Carolina on Thursday, June 11th. Sherri Duncan and Deby Roberts
joined the club to discuss the book and also brought along select pieces featured in the book for all to admire and try on for themselves. A fabulous time was shared by all!

Brookgreen Gala 2009

A copy of 'Jewels Of Passion: Costume Jewelry Masterpieces' was auctioned off along with a piece from the book, at this year's annual Brookgreen Gala at Brookgreen Gardens in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. Running for it's 17th consecutive year in a row, the Spring Gala was held at Brookgreen Gardens on May 2nd.

Brookgreen Gardens is a national historic landmark, established in 1931 by Archer and Anna Huntington. The grounds comprise of an array of display gardens with the most extensive collection of figurative sculpture (many hand crafted by Anna Huntington herself) in an outdoor setting by American artists in the world. This week's 'Piece of the Week' from the Sherri Duncan Vintage Collection is this beautiful, chunky Jomaz pearl necklace and earring set. This necklace is almost identical to the piece worn by Audrey Hepburn in her legendary role as Holly Golightly in Breakfast At Tiffany's.
